I ordered the chicken for a entree and Aged Rib eye for a main, other people at table ordered the Duck and Crab, Beef entree
The bridge had a long list of local wines which is always pleasant to see. Service was Average as the waiter tried to impress to much
The food presentation 4 Star the food had height texture and shape. Chicken was cooked med/well "a concern" also I believe quail would have been more appropriate. The mains were filling and had good taste it was a shame it took 1.2 hours to come out entrees took 35 min far too long My question is had the chef done his prep Overall our table was not overly impressed and comment that the old owners were better it is a shame. The bonus was presentation was the best i have seen in Bendigo to date but a shame on chefs lack of speed and failing to cook the chicken properly this has lead to a rating of 3.5
