FREE CONCERT in Rosalind Park, THIS FRIDAY, Jan 29th 7pm-9pm…
Local powerhouse ethanol will team up with Melbourne’s most outstanding soul/funk/rock singer-guitarist, the amazing: Josh Owen, for a free show in the centre of Bendigo!
Friday, January 29th 2010 – ethanol with very special guest: Josh Owen at Rosalind Park, Bendigo!
This ultra-special treat for fans of fine soul, funk and rock kicks of at the early time of 7pm, in the beautiful outdoor setting of Rosalind Park Bendigo. Josh Owen is one of Australian music’s finest performers… as well as being one of Australian music’s best kept secrets!
“Honed in the musical melting pot of Melbourne's Brunswick Street, Josh's modern day spin on spiritual soul, a melange of funk, jazz, soul and reggae, creates an upbeat and sensual urban sound-scape that stretches the bounds of roots music…”
Josh Owen has shone as a featured performer at many of the Nation’s most prestigious music festivals and is a highly respected talent within the music industry and by punters in the know – for good reason.
“He got the chunkin’, shreddin’ aggro for the guys, he got the goofy, huggable charm for the ladies; he got the songs (one for every mood), he got the voice... By rights, Owen’s star should already be burning brightly.” – Jesse Shrock, Beat Magazine.
